As you are aware that we had to postpone the semi-finals last week because of inclement weather conditions, we will have our two semi-finals simultaneously at Kaleen 109 and Kaleen 110 starting at 9.00 am on Sunday the 23rd Feb 2014. Playing teams are requested to be on the oval at 8.30 am. The final match is also scheduled for 2.00 pm (same day).

FINACT executive committee invites all the community leaders and supporters to come and encourage teams in Semi finals at Kaleen 109 and Kaleen 110 at Turon Place, Kaleen on 23 Feb 2014 from 9.00 am onwards. The Finals will also be played at Kaleen 109 as well on the same day 23 Feb 2014 from 2.00 pm onwards.
The prize distribution which will be held at the Global Cricket Day celebrations on 2nd March 2014 at Boomanulla oval 34 Goyder street, Narrabundah, proudly supported by ACT Government and Cricket ACT.
This tournament will be followed by a very prestigious Tendular-Akram Shield Match played between Pakistani’s living in ACT and Indian team selected from best players of FINACT T-20 tournament 2014.

COMMONWEALTH DAY MULTI-FAITH CELEBRATION
10 MARCH 2014
The Commonwealth Day Celebration Committee, supported by the Royal Commonwealth Society (ACT) and the Commonwealth Round Table in Australia, is currently finalising plans for the annual multi-faith celebration. The theme for this year’s Commonwealth Day Celebration is ‘Team Commonwealth: Transcending the Horizons.’
The celebration commences at 11am at the chapel of the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture (17 Blackall Street, Barton) and will involve leaders from all of the major religions as well as cultural performances representing various Commonwealth countries.
All are invited to attend. Attendees should ensure that they are present from 10.45am. Plenty of onsite parking available.
