The final match is on Sunday 16 November at 2:00 pm at Nichols cricket oval followed by Awards Ceremony at 5:00 pm. We would like to invite you and your association members to the finals match and the awards ceremony.
During the awards ceremony we are planning to release FINACT souvenir book. In the souvenir book, we will have a centre page photo collage to include photos of events from all FINACT member associations. This is a great opportunity and I request you to send through some photos of events you conducted this year to be included in the souvenir.

IAAC presents a Musical Bonanza on 7th November at 7 pm at the Theo Notaras Multicultural hall.
Please come along on the 7th of November at the Theo Notaras Centre for a fun fulfilled evening with your family and friends and also meet these home loan specialists there.
Listen to the wonderful Singing of Soumitra Sarkar, The Elementz group—Vikas, Arun and Rajiv along with Atul, Anshula and Nasir. There will be Bollywood dancing and a musical quiz with Hitendra Gihlotra.

FINACT T20 Cricket Tournament Final Match & Awards Ceremony
Federation of Indian Associations of ACT (FINACT) organises T-20 Cricket Tournament every year in Canberra. FINACT is organising the event for fourth consecutive season. ACT Sports and Cricket ACT are strongly supporting the event. There are 12 teams represented by various Indian communities participating. We have included staff from High Commission of India also participating in the tournament to promote their interaction with local communities. This has become a very popular event in the youth and sports lovers in ACT.
The final match is being played on Sunday, 16th November 2014 and an award ceremony will follow. Being Australia is the host nation for ICC Cricket World Cup this year, we are bringing the World Cup countdown clock to the final match.
FINACT is leading to organise ACT Multicultural (Mini) Cricket World Cup Tournament in partnering with ACT Sports, Cricket ACT and ICC World Cup (Community Engagement). The tournament will be organised in Feb-March 2015 while the ICC World Cup is being played in the nation. There are 8 nations including India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, ACT Aboriginal Team, Bangladesh and Afghanistan likely to take part. This tournament will be announced at the FINACT Tournament Awards Ceremony.

2014 Multicultural Gala & Awards Dinner on 27 November
Get set for a night of glamour, fun and recognition of our city’s multicultural champions. The theme of this year’s event focuses on the cultural diversity and traditions of Africa. It is set to be a fantastic night, with profits from ticket sales benefiting charities assisting Ebola treatment in affected African nations.
The annual ACT Government Multicultural Awards recognise individuals, businesses, community organisations, media and public sector initiatives which have demonstrated outstanding contributions to multiculturalism in Canberra.
