Dear Visitor ji,

Today is 23 January and it is important for us to remember Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's 118th birth anniversary is being observed throughout India and abroad. Bose was born on January 23, 1897 in Cuttack and reportedly died on August 18, 1945 in an air crash.  FINACT extends a rich tribute to this great firebrand leader.

As advised earlier, on the occasion of India’s Republic Day, a Flag Hoisting Ceremony will be held at the High Commission of India, 3 Moonah Place Yarralumla on Sunday the 26^th January, 2014 at 9.00 AM.  All members of the Indian community are cordially invited to attend and are requested  to be at the site by 8.45 AM.

12 teams are participating in FINACT T-20 Cricket Tournament this year.  The tournament is starting on 2 February and Draws will be held at the High Commission of India following the flag hoisting ceremony on 26 January 2014.   Please find below a flyer for this event followed by the schedule and venues.

12 community teams are participating in this tournament.  They will be grouped in 4 Pools in a draw held at the High Commission by the His Excellency Mr Biren Nanda on 26 January 2014 after.

Final Match will be played on 23 February 2014.
