108 Bone Marrow Donors Registry Awareness Drive - Sun 13 May
Art of Living Foundation Australia is initiating 108 Bone Marrow Donor Registrations program for Red Cross Australia in Australia. The program will be launched on Guruji Sri Sri Ravishankar’s 62nd Birthday on 13 May 2018 across Australia. The drive will conclude Guru Poornima Friday 27 July. And aimed to provide 108 donors registered with the Red Cross.
Australian Bone Marrow Donor Registry (ABMDR) needs young, committed and ethically diverse donors to help save lives. Bone Marrow or Stem Cell donation will help the person with serious illness (like Cancer) often as the last resort. The stem cells help the patient to regenerate red cells, white cells and platelets to fight with terminal illness. The persons eligible for ABMDR are aged between18 to 45 and healthy. Ethical diversity is important and there is a shortage of donors in Australia.
The procedure for blood stem cell donation is simple compared to the bone marrow. Read the flyer at http://www.abmdr.org.au for more information. Registration Form available at http://www.abdmr.org.au/how-to-join-2/, fill the form and handover to Art of Living teachers/state coordinators in your city.
The program is launched at the Satsang of Guruji Birthday on Sunday 13 May 2018 at 5:00pm at Gungaderra Homestead in Harrison.
