Please come and see the perfect 2 teams playing for the Grand Finale of the Independence Day Cup - the Indian Team- Punjab Kings (PK 11) and Pakistan's PCCC. You can't ask for a better Finale for a tournament which is celebrating the Independence Day of India and Pakistan.
After some passionate cricket over the last couple of months with 20 completed matches, we had the the four Semi Finalist in the form of Mighty Warriors, Punjab Kings, Canberra Dolphins and PCCC.
The Finals will be played at Bonner Oval on 13th August on the eve of the Independence Day of Pakistan and the Indian Independence Day coming on 15th August. It will certainly be a keen contest and we hope that the best team wins.
You are invited with your family and friends on the day to enjoy the not-to-be-missed traditional rivalry between two sporting communities.

In case you failed to complete your census
The ABS apologises to the Australian public for inconvenience caused and reassures Australia that no data has been lost or compromised. The ABS has an unblemished record of protection of data and there has never been a breach in relation to Census data. The protection of Census data has and always will be our first priority.
What next for the Census?
Thanks to everyone who has completed the Census already.
There’s still plenty of time to complete your Census. We ask Australians to complete their forms as soon as possible. Fines will not be imposed for completing the Census after Census night.
As planned, households who have not yet completed their Census forms will start receiving reminders from next week. Census Field Officers will start visiting homes that haven’t participated in the Census from this weekend to ensure everyone can take part.
If you haven’t received your Census materials, please wait until the end of the week and then contact the Census Inquiry Service using the Contact us form or call 1300 214 531. To order a paper form, please call 1300 820 275.

Federation of Indian Associations in ACT (FINACT) Inc is a not for profit socio-cultural federation that is heavily dependent on volunteers from the community.
We invite an expression of interest with your areas of expertise, experience and skills.
You may also wish to sponsor our events to fulfil your social and corporate responsibilities.
Invitation #7 - Multicultural Community Association/Organisation Survey
The ACT Office for Multicultural Affairs would like to conduct asurvey of multicultural community associations and organisations (form attached) to gain information in relation to current requirements and the demands for access to use/hire facilities (this includes the Theo Notaras Multicultural Centre, other ACT community and recreation centres, school halls, club facilities etc).
This information will be compiled and evaluated by the ACT Government to gain an appreciation of the current levels of usage of meeting/conference/event facilities, such as school halls, community halls and Club meeting rooms, so that more effective resource planning, rationalisation, utilisation of assets/infrastructure, support and assistance can be facilitated in the future.
